This article scares the pidudy out of me because it reminds me of the media hype 18-24 months before the Iraq invasion. Do you think this is the beginning of a Korean invasion?
This is the only shot I got of Matt. The rest of the time he was out playing with his friends and I barely saw him. We all had a blast though. We went on one hike together and had a great time. It was funny hearing Matt worry about Marcus ("Careful Marcus... I don't think you can make this step, you have to be big like me for that one...")
With overlooks and dropoffs like this, you can see why Michelle is happy she doesn't come to this annual camping trip. She would probably freak out with fear.
I coached Tater's Tball team this year. We were the Phillies (don't ask me why!) So, when the Phillies came to town, we took our kids to the game. We had a great time and saw Andre Ethier hit a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 12th. Such a great game!

The US Dept. of Education's "Financial Responsibility Test" was recently announced. This test indicates that according to certain ratios, a private higher education institution may be at risk for failure. These schools are subject to extra monitoring on their use of federal student aid funds. Notice four Church of Christ related school made the list this year, led by Michigan's Rochester College.
These 114 private, nonprofit, degree-granting institutions scored below 1.5, the passing level.

The department develops a composite score on a scale of 3.0 to minus 1.0, based on financial ratios that measure factors such as net worth, operating losses, and the relationship of assets to liabilities. Institutions with scores of 1.5 to 3 pass. In addition to extra monitoring for all institutions that "fail," those with scores below 1.0 are required to post a letter of credit with the department equal to 10 percent of the federal student aid that goes to their students annually.
